Fire as a transformative center
We wanted an open space, without divisions, taking advantage of the privileged view, the eating and drinking areas are located towards the window in relation to the surrounding landscape.
At the center of the space, fire is located as an alchemical element, the open kitchen is visible from any point, attracting visitor´s eyes to the sparkling reflections of the skies in which the fire, the reflected colors and textures appear, stimulating curiosity about processes that are normally hidden from the diner.

Continuous  horizon
We wanted people to be able to sit and look at each other at the same height as the people who prepare the food and drinks, bringing this idea of horizon to the relationship, creating a feeling of closeness.

Cabinet of curiosities
The interior facades of the space are sober metal elements that house expressions of Colombian material culture, collected from diverse territories that together speak of the great spirit of this vast territory. More than decoration, they are companions on the journey that the chef proposes, along with the raw material that is cooked over time or that which is collected from the earth and the sea.

Interior geography The space has two levels, a lower one, rougher and warmer with Villa de Leyva stone that supports the living experience and another higher level, smooth and clear in terrazzo that functions as circulation/articulation between kitchen-bar-diners through powerful stone surfaces.

imago-poemasSometimes the thing appears first, other times the words slip ahead, naming what does not yet appear, in this exercise, understanding that the space that is presented is always another than the one that is thought, the things suggest the words and again the words bring the things but in a different way, transforming them from their position in the image.

At a time when images pass through the eye quickly, words seem to deepen a different meaning of things and build another type of blended images that i call imago-poemas.
